Our national and international carriers are UK Mail, TNT and UPS.

Some countries have specific size, weight and product restrictions, please phone us for full details. If you decide to arrange your own courier collection you assume all liabilities and costs associated with the courier. A packing charge may be applicable.

For International orders outside of the UK and Ireland, please call us or email us to place orders. Export courier prices can vary with size, weight and shape of parcel, please contact us for an accurate quotation for your order. By placing an export order, you agree to pay any duty and taxes associated with the order.

The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use personal information that we may obtain about you. By either registering as a user of any services provided by Atec Autotechnic Ltd on this website and by using the Atec Autotechnic Ltd web site generally you agree to this use.

When opening an account and placing an order with us we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and the card’s expiry date. We use this information in order to process and run your Account, for credit purposes, marketing, market research and analysis and to notify you of the status of the order. We also ask you for your telephone number, which enables us to contact you should there be a problem or query with your order or account.

Should you enter a competition or other promotional feature on our website we may ask you for your name, address and e-mail address in order that we may efficiently administer the competition and promotion as well as notifying the winners. We may disclose your information to other parties for the purposes of processing and fulfilling your order. We may also use the information that we collect from you to notify you from time to time about functionality changes to our website, the service that we provide and details of special or promotional offers.

Protection of Personal Data

We have taken every possible precaution to create a secure environment to protect the personal information supplied by you to us when making an order or opening an Account. When an order is placed or Account opened we offer the use of a secure service. Essentially we use 128bit RSA encryption methods in that the secure sockets layer (SSL) encrypts all information input before it is sent to us. In order to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and for maximum peace of mind we can advise that we have implemented strict security procedures in relation to the storage and disclosure of information which you have given to us for the purpose of preventing unauthorised access. For security reasons and to protect your right to privacy we may occasionally request proof of identity from you before disclosing any sensitive information to you or accepting any order from you.

Terms and Conditions

In these conditions the expression ’the company’ means Atec Autotechnic LTD.

Terms of Payment

Payment is required in full prior to the dispatch of goods.

Payment Methods

Credit and Debit Cards - We accept payment by VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards. We also accept debit card payment by DELTA, SWITCH & MAESTRO

VAT and Overseas Customers

If you are outside the European Community (Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada, Australia, Asia, Far East, Africa etc) and we are shipping the goods to you then you do not pay VAT.

Customers from EC Member States will be charged the UK VAT unless you have a business and are VAT registered. In these circumstances we will require your country code and VAT number.(Please send proof of identification - i.e. a fax copy of your VAT Certificate).

BFPO customers can be supplied VAT free providing a Certificate of Entitlement for VAT free purchases authorised by the C.O. is supplied.

Passing of Title and Risk in The Goods

The property in all goods sold by the company shall remain with the company until such sums at any time owing to the company under this or any other contract have been paid in full and the company reserves the right to repossess the goods at any time and from any person, firm or company and from any place until such sums due to the company have been paid in full. Risk in the goods will pass to the purchaser upon delivery.

Claims/Liability

Any claim in respect of goods alleged to be damaged or defective or goods mis-delivered or short delivered must be made to the company in writing within 3 days of the date of dispatch.

Warranty

Goods returned under warranty should be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase and will be dealt with as a matter of priority. The manufacturer for quality control purposes and to establish the cause whether they have a genuine manufacturing fault may inspect these goods. The company is not responsible for any carriage charges and/or labour charges incurred during the fitment or removal of suspected faulty, incorrectly ordered or incorrectly supplied parts. Please ensure the goods are securely wrapped and all the necessary details of the original purchase are included with your name and address.

Our standard terms and conditions apply to all sales a copy of which is available upon request.

RETURNED GOODS AUTHORISATION:

All returned products, whatever the reason, must be accompanied by a Returned Goods Authorisation number (RGA:), this can be obtained by contacting us by telephone (+44 (0) 1280 704525:) or by email (atecltd@btconnect.com). The parcel should be securely wrapped to protect the contents and be clearly marked on the outside with the word "Returns" followed by the RGA number. Complete purchase details including your name and address and contact details should be included within.

EXCHANGE OF GOODS:

Whilst we endeavour to supply the correct goods, inevitably on occasions an exchange is required, we will happily exchange all stock items once you have returned the goods in their original condition with all packaging.

GOODS NO LONGER REQUIRED:

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your goods you may return them to us within 14 days, complete with all packaging in original condition, for a refund, credit or exchange at our discretion, after the issue of a Returned Goods Authorisation number. This does not apply to non-stock items which have been specially obtained to fill your order. Goods should be returned using a recorded delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for any goods lost or damaged in transit to us and in the event of us having no record of receipt of the return a refund, credit or exchange will only be considered if a proof of return is provided. Goods returned which have been correctly supplied will be subject to a 15% re-stocking charge and carriage costs will not be refunded

GOODS INCORRECTLY SUPPLIED & WARRANTY CLAIMS:

Goods returned due to incorrect supply or failure under warranty will be dealt with as a matter of priority. They should be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase and details of your preferred remedy.

Atec Autotechnic Ltd is not responsible for any carriage charges, labour charges or consequential costs of any kind associated with the fitment or removal of suspected faulty, incorrectly ordered or incorrectly supplied parts.
